Nagpur: The Nagpur Beejotsov-2015 is organizing a three-day symposium on Indigenous seeds, (organic/ natural) sustainable farming methods and practices.

This is the third year that the Nagpur Beejutsov is being organized. The event starts with interview cum interaction with farmers, consumers & activists. All stakeholders are said to be working on a single goal of “how does your food remain safe”
It is a known fact that the use of Fertilizers and Pesticides is on the rise and with the advent of Herbicides and a imminent threat of introduction of GM seeds, collectively has made food unsafe for consumption.

Nagpur Beejotsov’s Goal is to educate consumers and farmers alike of the need to conserve our own seeds and adopt organic farming methods and practices.

The organizers have appealed citizens to come with friends and family to the Exhibition cum Sale of Seed Diversity, Farm produce & Books, Interact with Seed Savers & Farmers, Enjoy Song & Music, Discussions & much more.. and please carry you own glasses to avoid use of plastic cups !

On February 13, 14, 15, 2015 (starting at 2pm on February 13, 2015 and ending at 5pm on February 15, 2015) at Sarvodaya Ashram, near Bhole Petrol Pump, Dharampet, Amravati Marg, Nagpur

Registration Rs. 300/- includes food & stay for three days.
