At Jain International School,  all students  are inspired to develop a spirit of enquiry, and are empowered with the skills, courage, optimism and integrity to pursue their dreams and enhance the lives of others.

Jain International School delivers a dynamic educational programme that encourages each student to achieve his or her highest potential. The school believes in providing a rich and unique environment that combines the best of human values with an international outlook.

The school  believes that…

•    Each person has equal intrinsic value.
•    All people have potential for growth.
•    Mutual trust and respect are essentials for healthy, enduring relationships.
•    Internal motivation is the most powerful driver of learning and success.
•    A balanced lifestyle is the essence of well-being.

The school’s vision incorporates :

•    Teachers who are knowledgeable, skilled and child-centered guided by a content-rich curriculum.
•    Incorporation  of knowledge, analytical skills, communication capabilities and emotional intelligence in students.

The school believes that value education is the mainstay of all endeavours to transform society.  A concerted effort is made towards building the correct attitude towards teachers, parents, peers and the environment and inculcating values that remain consistent.  Value Education is thus an integral part of the  system that is not confined merely to the classroom.

Evaluation is the most tangible source of student performance.JIS aims at evaluating what a child knows, rather than what he doesn’t. The focus is on understanding the strengths & weaknesses of the child. Though Jain International School places emphasis on stress-free evaluation, care is taken to ensure that children are able to cope with the slew of competitive examinations that are conducted post-Class X and Class XII.
The school strictly adheres to the policy of CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) laid down by CBSE in which academics, co-curricular activities, attitudes & values are also assessed. Skill-based assessment is followed in the primary section, the goal being to prepare the child to cope with CCE.

The students are divided into four houses and each house takes care of major aspects such as school discipline, morning assembly, cleanliness and supervision for a  fortnight. This  provides an interactive and integrated platform for Intellectual, Emotional, Physical & Spiritual Development. The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, catering to all age groups such as Dance , Yoga, Vocal & Instrumental Music (Indian & Western), and a host of literary activities.

In addition, competitions such as Poetry in Motion, Dance,  Extempore, Debate, Painting, Elocution,Clay Modelling, Photography,  Flower Arrangement etc are conducted to encourage the students to hone their skills in various arts and crafts.

The school has various clubs to nurture the talents of students such as the Art & Craft Club, Aesthetic Club, Science Club, Maths Club, Literary & Knowledge Club and Heritage Club. Each club has student office bearers as President’  & Secretary. Club activities are planned and organized throughout the year, weekly, under the guidance of a teacher who is the patron of the club. The school also has in place an interactive and activity based programme at the Primary Level called Fast Track Kids  aimed at giving practical knowledge to the children in the field of science, mathematics and life skills. Another programme Young Engineers teaches the young minds the basics of machines and robots.

An hour a day is provided for games & sports for all the students of Class I upwards. The school provides training for all games and sports under the guidance of expert coaches.  The broad spectrum of game facilities includes Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Skating, Soccer, Yoga, Table Tennis, Chess & Carrom. This year the school will be introducing Golf also as a sports option in the school.

A well furnished dining hall provides a balanced vegetarian diet which includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks in hygienic conditions – a total solution to the problem of soggy and cold packed meals! While ensuring that the students have a balanced diet, the nutritious meals go a long way towards eliminating unnecessary comparisons and ensuring equality amongst them.

Jain International School runs a fleet of buses to all areas, with a comfortable pick up and drop. The short routes ensure that no child travels long distances to reach school. The safety aspect is paramount, with conductors and teacher in-charges being present on all the routes.

The signature statement of the school sums up the entire JIS experience… “See your child fall in love with the school”.
