Good news for all the talented stage, theatre and performance artists of Vidarbha. A multi-faceted personality has emerged a “Messiah” for them. Manish Singh Chauhan, a reputed social worker, philanthropist, who always helped the needy as his lifelong mission and who is an inspiration to society by his leadership qualities of saviour of under-privileged, has vowed to give the due exposure to upcoming talent of the region.
The Seahorse Entertainment run by Manish Singh Chauhan has embarked on a mega talent hunt. Chauhan has come to know that singers, actors, dancers and other artists from Vidarbha are not getting due exposure in Bollywood and television. Rather they are taken for a ride and exploited in the name of an opportunity in Bollywood. But now, a platform for Vidarbha’s talent to display their artistic skills would be in Nagpur itself, thanks to vision of Manish Singh Chauhan. The platform would prove a gateway to not only Bollywood but to national stage too.
For the sake of record, Chauhan has so far produced 54 documentaries on varied subjects, 18 ad films and other works of importance. The coming days would see Chauhan producing 4 Marathi, 4 Hindi and 2 Chhattisgarhi films with the assistance of Maharashtra and Central Government.
The Seahorse Entertainment of Manish Singh Chauhan is coming out with a venture to provide a perfect artistic platform for budding talent of Vidarbha. The venture in the form of Chitnavis Center, besides Hislop College in Civil Lines, will provide opportunities for talented Vidarbha artists in the field of audition, lights, sound, camera, and of course, action. The Center will fit the artists in accordance with the script, role and other field of their talent.
The Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Seahorse Infologics and Entertainment Private Limited Manish Singh Chauhan, while talking to Nagpur’s Today scribe Ravikant Kamble, said he has come up with an initiative after being approached by various artist groups of Vidarbha. The initiative “Vidarbha’s Got Talent” will prove a perfect platform for artists who can enroll and display their skills through “Vidarbha’s Got Talent” initiative to be telecast by UCN Cable Network. First step to entertainment world will begin with entry to the ‘Vidarbha’s Got Talent’ show, which has a carefully modelled audition and transparent selection process under supervision of highly reputed, renowned promoters. Renowned personalities from Bollywood and entertainment world will be invited for the upcoming talent show.
