Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Panic gripped the area along the Samruddhi Mahamarg after a gas pipeline reportedly developed a leak alongside the expressway, prompting authorities to halt traffic as a precautionary measure.
The incident was reported at Channel No. 451.2 of the Samruddhi Mahamarg. A strong odour reportedly spread across the area following the gas leak, raising concerns among motorists and passengers.
As a safety precaution, traffic heading from Nagpur towards Mumbai has been stopped. Traffic has also been diverted through the Lasur-Hads Pimpalgaon toll plaza, resulting in long queues of vehicles on the route.
