Sahuakri-debts worth Rs 2 crore exempted for 1092 farmers of 13 talukas in the district

So far, Sahukari-debts worth Rs 8,65,08,094 exempted in respect of 4989 farmers of the district

Recently, the Sahukari-debts worth Rs 2,00,00, 784 in respect of 1092 farmers belonging to Nagpur, Kamptee,Kuhi,Umred, Parshivani,Katol, Hingna, Mouda, Kallmeshwar, Ramtek, Saoner and Narkhed talukas in the district have been exempted, informed District Collector Shachin Kurve at the district level 7th meeting in this regard at collectorate on Dec 2.

The meeting was presided by Collector Kurve in the prominent presence of Nagpur Rural SP’s representative Ratan Singh Yadav, deputy district registrar Satish Bhosale, special district auditor M S Atey, T N Chavan, Ashok Giri, Sukhdeo Kolhe, Prakash Bhajani, Anjusha Garate, Snajaya Agarkar, R N Wasu, Chaitanya Nasare, Naresh Awachat and tahsildar Balasaheb Tele.

So far the 265 Sahukari-debt ridden 4989 farmers of the district have been granted exemption worth Rs 8,65,08,094.

Collector Kurve directed the officers to table the cases of farmers, if remaining any in the district.
