Safforn surge in South Nagpur as Shiv Sena’s Kiran Pandav rolls out Maha Rally on last day

Nagpur: South Nagpur turned saffron with the surge of Maha Rally taken out by Shiv Sena candidate Kiran Pandav on the last day of campaigning for October 15 Assembly election. A huge crowd of workers and people participated in the Maha Rally which scanned every nook and corner of the constituency.

The Rally rolled out from Rajabaksha at 9 in the morning with Kiran Pandav first garlanding the idol of Hanuman in the famous Maruti Mandir. The area echoed with high-pitched slogans “Jai Maharashtra” Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji” “Dakshin Nagpur Ka Neta Kaisa Ho, Kiranbhau Jaisa Ho” voiced by workers gathered there in large number. The rally then covered Shiv Sena Bhavan, Reshimbagh Square, Sharda Square, Beldar Nagar, Gajanan Mandir, Mhalgi Nagar, Shahnshah Square, Bollywood Centre Point, Rukhmin Lawn, Ayodhya Nagar, Manewada, Besa, Balaji Nagar Square, Kailas Nagar, Vishwakarma Nagar, Bajrang Nagar, Empress Mill Colony, Railway Colony, Vanjari Nagar, Chandan Nagar and other areas. The Maha Rally culminated at Tiranga Square, Reshimbagh.

Hundreds of people including Corporator Kishore Kumeria, Girish Pandav, Anil Nagrare, Hitesh Yadav, Vinod Bawane, Pramod Gurnule, Deepak Chakole, Pramod Sorte, Nitin Tiwari, Dr Rajanitai Burde, Mayatai Agne, Maltitai Thakre, Minatai Suryavanshi, Durga Gavhane, Nita Bajpayee, Dipali Tumane Rekhatai Bargat, and other prominent citizens, workers in hundred participated in the Maha Rally.
