Tukaram Lanjewar Primary School Gaddigudam, coming under jurisdiction of Sadar police station is closed for long time. Taking advantage of this many anti-social elements take shelter here and continue their activities from the spot. On May 14 police received a tip off that some people were planning anti social activity and were preparing for that. Acting on the tip off the Sadar police raided the school premises.
On 1st floor there were 2-3 persons and on 2nd floor police found many more people. Seeing the raiding police party the anti social elements gathered there took to their heels and many succeeded in escaping by jumping to the next building. Police managed to catch two persons 1) Kuldeep alias Pinu Shashidhar Pandey, 22, a resident of police line Takli and 2) Shubham Dinesh Lokhande, 19, a resident of near masjid, Gaddigudam.
Police have recovered 1 chopper, 4 hattimar knives and chilli powder from their possession. It is surmised that they were planning dacoity.
Police inspector, Arun Mali of Sadar police station is investigating into the matter.
