After years of hassles, heartburns and harassment, the students of RTMNU can now breath easy as the University has hammered out a solution that will facilitate results in time and flawless valuation of answer-papers. The Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University has not only issued directives for implementation of online process but even started working on it, to some extent. This information was shared by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Murlidhar Chandekar to media.
Dr Chandekar said that the students will now come to know about results through SMS. As soon as valuation of answer-papers is over the students will be informed about the results. Till now, results of all the students were being declared at one go. However, results of those students facing problems like incomplete documents, practical exam marks were being withheld. But hereafter, the results of only those students will be withheld and not of all the students altogether. One more advantage of results through SMS will be that the students will not have to scan the RTMNU website every now and then.
Online valuation of answer-papers begins:
Dr Chandekar further said that the online valuation of answer-papers has begun. The RTMNU is now in a position to declare results within 25 days. For this, the process of online valuation of answer-papers is being utilized. Similarly, scan copy of answer-papers is also being checked. In this system, until and unless an answer is checked the computer will not go ahead. This system will lessen the problems of flawed valuation to a great extent, said the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
