RTI selected students urged to take their admissions before Mar 20

Nagpur: The Education Department has appealed those parents whose wards have been selected for admissions in schools through RTI process to ensure admissions of their wards in respective schools before March 20, 2017 at any cost. If they failed to do so, the selection of their wards will be cancelled forth with. Such students will not get another chance in the second lucky draw. The parents of those students who were selected for RTI admissions were notified through SMSes mentioning the names of schools where they have ensure the admissions accordingly.

This year, the Education Department had received online applications from 23,462 students for RTI admissions. Out of these students, 6838 students were selected for admissions through RTI quota. These selected students are being admissions in their respective schools without remittance of fees. The SMSes that were being sent contained information regarding selection of students and schools. The Education Officer Deepak Lokhande has appealed parents to ensure admissions of their wards till March 20.
