Nagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat who recently pitched for a review of the reservation policy on Saturday took a U-Turn and tried to distance himself from the contentious issue by saying his organization does not involve itself in issues like reservation.
Speaking at the 12th National Convention of Akhil Bharatiya Valmiki Mahasabha in the city, Bhagwat said that RSS does not get involved in knowing what were the reservation arrangements, which post was filled up, how many people lost their jobs due to closure of a business or industry etc.
This is not our subject nor we study on it. RSS talks of progress and prosperity of whole Hindu Samaj. Samaj should get rid of discrimination, injustice and inequality. The honest and unselfish efforts made in this direction are supported by RSS wholeheartedly.
The organization advocates that all should get benefits of progress and development, asserted the RSS Chief.
