    Rs 2.5 lakhs worth of goods from Reliance Tower stolen

    Some unknown thieves have stolen Rs 2.5 lakhs worth of goods from the Reliance Microwave Communication tower situated at Ravinagar falling within the jurisdiction of Ambazhari Police Station.

    According to police sources, Atul Karale aged 27 years and a resident of Duttawadi in Daulatwadi area lodged a complaint with Ambazhari Police Station that Reliance Company had erected four Network Communication towers in front of CP Club.  He claimed that each tower has two batteries, SMRS, Rectifiers, NCB and other vital equipments. The thieves have allegedly stolen all these goods.

    On the basis of the complaint lodged with Ambazhari Police Station, the police officials have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and are investigating into the matter.
