Rs 129000/- stolen from house in Kotwali area

In what could be explained only as sheer negligence on the part of the victim and optimum utilization of an opportunity on the part of a thief, the victim lost Rs. 129000/- from his house.

In an incident which occurred on December 28, 2014, the victim identified as Rajesh Ravindra Thakur aged 31 years and a resident of the house owned by Fakirchand Kose, near Kashibai Temple, New Shukrawari, continued walking and went to the terrace of his house while speaking on his mobile phone.

Meanwhile some unidentified person, entered into his house through the door which was open and stole the cash amounting to Rs 1,29,000/- kept in a bag on top of a shelf.

On the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim, Police Sub Inspector Atram of Kotwali Police Station registered a case against unidentified accused under section 380 of IPC and is investigating into the case.
