Nagpur: Unidentified miscreants struck at a steel trading shop on Ghat Road in Ganeshpeth area and burgled Rs 1.53 cash between Saturday night and Monday morning.
A resident of Deshpande Layout, Trimurti Nagar, Chandu Kisanrao Bhurne (40) owns a shop named Tirupati Steel Traders, opposite Hyundai Showroom, Ghat Road. On Saturday night, Chandu closed his shop as usual and went home.
Next day being Sunday, he arrived at his shop on Monday morning to open the shop. But to his shock, Chandu found locks of shutter broken and cash Rs 1.53 lakh stolen.
Ganeshpeth PSI Pawar has registered a case under Sections 454, 457, 380 of the IPC and searching for the burglars.
