Role of ‘Clinidipine’ in cardiology and nephrology discussed

Nagpur: The Nagpur chapter of Diabetic Association of India recently organised a Continuing Medical Education programme (CME) at a city hotel recently. Noted interventional cardiologist Dr Aziz Khan discussed the role of ‘Clinidipine’ in cardiology, while nephrologist Dr Prakash Khetan discussed role of Clinidipine in nephrology. Dr Anuj Sarda and Dr P K Deshpande presided over the first lecture, while Dr Dhanajay Ookalkar and Dr Ashiwini Kumar Khandekar chaired the 2nd lecture.

dr-aziz-khanAt the outset president of Diabetic Association of India Dr Nirmal Jaiswal welcomed the audience, while secretary Dr Sudhir Chafle proposed the vote of thanks. Both the speakers interacted with the audience in a question and answer session and dispelled myths about hypertension management with kidney disease and heart disease.

Programme was sponsored by unconditional educational grant from J B Chemical and Pharmaceuticals Ltd and was largely attended.
