Nagpur: A 11-year-old boy was killed when a rashly driven car hit him in Wadi area on Sunday afternoon. Identified as Anmay Jyotisingh Ravindrasingh Kala, the deceased was a resident of Waddhamna, Surabardi.
Police said that Anmay was crossing the road in front of Gurdwara in Wadi when a speeding car (MH-34/AM-4578) knocked him down. An injured Anmay was rushed to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The car driver sped away after the accident. Tension prevailed in Wadi area after the gruesome accident.
Based on a complaint of Gurmitsingh Avinashsingh Kala (45), Wadi police have registered a case against the car driver.
