Road robbers strike MP native, his friend, loot 3 mobiles, motorcycle, Rs 1800 in Kalamna

Road robbers struck a native of Madhya Pradesh and his friend and looted three cell phones, Splendour motorcycle and Rs 1800 cash at knife point totally worth Rs 20,000 on Sunday.
According to police, the victims Anil Kumar Thakur (19), native of Barghat, Seoni District, Madhya Pradesh and his friend Vinod Taf (30), resident of Gumthada, Kamptee were returning to Nagpur from Seoni on their Splendour motorcycle (MH-40/A 0465) on Sunday. When they reached near Gajanana Vihar Dhargaon Flyover on Kalamna Outer Ring Road, five robbers stopped them and whipped out a sharp-edged knife. The robbers then relieved Anil Thakur and Vinod Taf of their three mobile phones, Rs 1800 cash and also the motorcycle collectively worth Rs 20,000. All the five robbers fled the spot along with the motorcycle. Anil Thakur and Vinod Taf anyhow reached Kalamna Police Station and lodged a complaint. Kalamna police have registered an offence and are searching for the robbers.
