Nagpur: The Second Capital of the State, is expected to get some respite from the scorching summer heat as the Regional Meteorological Department (RMC) of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a “Yellow Alert” for the district. The alert is in effect from May 22 to May 25.
The RMC’s five-day forecast predicts that Nagpur may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated locations. This weather condition is expected to provide relief from the oppressive heat.
Except for Akola and Buldhana, the RMC has also issued a Yellow Alert for all the districts of Vidarbha.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during the specified period.
