Nationals Junior Under-17 doubles tournament held at Jaipur
Nagpur: Nagpur youth are no less than anyone else in the country. Not only are they very competitive, they excel too.
Two girls from Nagpur who were participating in Nationals Junior Under-17 Badminton Nationals doubles tournament, Ritika Thaker and Simran Singhi finished runners up in the girls under 17 doubles at the Junior Nationals at Jaipur. They went down to top Seeda Ashwini Bhatt and U Mithula 14/21 and 07/21. Ritika who is a student of Chanda Devi Saraf (CDS) School trains under Robin Simon and Ajay Dayal. They could not get their act together in the finals said Ritika but was happy to make it to the finals in her maiden Junior Badminton Nationals, she has thanked the school and principal for their support and her coaches for their efforts.
