Nagpur News: Budding city shuttler Ritika Thaker, is all set to make her International debut to represent India in the upcoming Asian Badminton Championships at Bangkok from November 11 to 14. Ritika was selected to represent India at the Badminton Championships.
A student of Center Point School, Katol Road, is studying in class VIIIth, practices under Robin Simon and Ajay Dayal, Sachin Deshmukh are the physical trainers. Ritika is excited on her first International journey. She is very thankful to her coaches, school and her Principal Shilpi Ganguli, Neelima Mahajan, Nathan and Nagpur District Badminton Association for their support for taking her game to this level. She says she still has a long way to go and has to improve a lot under watchful eyes of her coaches and will put more efforts to improve further. She is also very excited that she would get to play with international players of China, Japan, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, the super powers of badminton!
