Riteish Deshmukh shows up at Nagpur to promote his Marathi debut film ‘Lai Bhaari’

Riteish Deshmukh is floating on the appreciation he has been receiving for his incredible performance in negative role in recently released Hindi movie ‘Ek Villain’. Ecstatic and elated Riteish is now set for his Marathi debut in Nishikant Kamat’s upcoming movie ‘Lai Bhaari’ which will hit screens on July 11.

In Nagpur to promote his Marathi movie, Riteish generously flaunted his warmer side and appeared more friendly with the media here on Tuesday.

At the press conference held at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur, Riteish took the charge of explaining the minuteness of every role in the movie, also emphasizing on the importance and uniqueness of art in Marathi Cinema. Co-actors Sharad Kelkar and Aditi Pohane were also present, along with director Nishikant Kamat.

Director of L7 Group Ravi Agrawal also attended the press conference. Sanjay Kukreja of Balaji Entertainments headed and coordinated the conference.

Sharad Kelkar, who plays villain also faced a volley of questions from city scribes about his role. He said it was an incredible experience to be a part of a Marathi flick. When asked about Salman’s guest appearance in the movie, he handed over the mike to Riteish.

An instance got narrated by him, in which Salman seemed willing to be a part of this Marathi film himself. Such is the essence of Marathi Cinema, they said!

The actor plays Mauli, an orphan and a modern day Robin Hood, who fights injustice and helps the poor. Jeetendra Thackeray, the head of Cine Mantra Entertainment and the film’s producer excerpts, “The film has been made keeping box office in mind.”
