New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday announced the results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final Examination held in May 2026, with the overall pass percentage remaining moderate across all categories.

According to ICAI, 87,497 candidates were admitted for the examination, which was conducted at 544 centres across India and abroad. The results have been made available on the official portal, where candidates can access their scores using their registration and roll numbers.

The examination saw varying success rates across Group I, Group II and candidates who appeared for both groups. Group II recorded the highest pass percentage at 20.49%, while Group I registered a pass percentage of 12%.

CA Final Examination May 2026: Result Analysis

Noor Singla of Patiala secured the All India First Rank with an impressive score of 499 marks, translating into 83.17 per cent. Ritij Saraf from Howrah stood second with 475 marks, while Sohan Anil Manjrekar of Dombivli (East) secured the third position with 473 marks.

Congratulating the successful candidates, ICAI President CA. Prasanna Kumar D emphasized that hard work, determination, resilience and continuous learning are the keys to success.

“The secret of success lies within you—in your hard work, determination to succeed, resilience in overcoming challenges and ability to stay motivated. As you enter the prestigious Chartered Accountancy profession, uphold the values of integrity, ethics and service to society, and contribute meaningfully to India’s growth and development,” he said.

ICAI urged newly qualified Chartered Accountants to maintain the highest professional standards and play an active role in nation-building through their knowledge, professionalism and commitment.
