rpibjpNagpur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received a shot in the arm when Republican Party of Vidarbha declared its support to party candidates in the run up to the Assembly elections. In a letter sent to State BJP President Devendra Fadnavis, the Republican Party of Vidarbha’s National President Vikas Damle and General Secretary Sadanand Fulzele announced their party’s support to BJP for making Maharashtra a strong and efficient State.

In the past 15 years, Maharashtra lagged behind in almost all fronts with irrigation, Lavasa, Adarsh, scams coming to the fore. Maharashtra’s image got a severe beating and people have lost their faith in Democratic Front Government led by Congress-NCP alliance. Farmers’ suicides, unemployment increased while industrial development declined. Maharashtra lagged behind in all significant aspects.
