RankJunction.com has done what others have failed to do successfully. Under the banner of Talent Marathon, they brought 1500+ JEE and AIPMT aspirants under one roof and helped them judge their preparedness for the all-important, career defining competitive exams free of cost. This contest was organised at Pt. BachcharajVyasVidyalaya and Junior college, one of the oldest schools in Nagpur, who is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. “TALENT MARATHON, NAGPUR Chapter” was successfully organized on 11th October 2013 that saw hundreds of students throng the campus of Pt. BachcharajVyasVidyalaya. This contest, meant for XI, XII science students was conducted as a 1 hour paper & pen exam based on the latest JEE MAIN and AIPMT syllabus.
The contest was inaugurated by Shri Sanjay Shirpurkar, Chairman of BhartiyaShikshanSanstha in the presence of Mrs.Sulekar, Principal, Pt. BachcharajVyasVidyalaya, Sameer Gautam, CEO of RankJunction, MayurPathak, Sales & Marketing Head of RankJunction and Mrs. Anjali Tijare, in-charge of junior college. The scene on the contest day, held in two shifts, was worth watching. Students not only took the exam seriously but cheered the sponsors who had come up with exciting contests, gifts and scholarship opportunities. Jetking, who were the associate sponsors to the event offered scholarships worth whooping 2.5 lacs to the students. Other associate sponsor was Fastrack showroom on WHC road, who offered attractive watches to the winners of the contest. Students also revelled in the discount vouchers that were provided by brand partners Café Coffee Day and Subway.
“We are overwhelmed to see the response to the contest. This only proves that students have been searching for a neutral platform to test them and obtain a nonbiased ranking. Said a student on a condition of anonymity, “We attend coaching classes of reputed students from our area. However no teacher has ever been able to conduct a JEE level exam like this. I’m thankful to RankJunction and Pt. BachcharajVyasVidyalaya for organising such a contest.”
