Nagpur: The devastating floods in Nepal have left four citizens from Nagpur stranded in China while returning from the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.
Among those stranded are Rajesh Awasat, owner of Ram Cooler, Dr Rashmi Jirapure, Sachin Jirapure and his uncle. The group is currently stranded in Saga village in China.
The floods have caused extensive damage along the route, with the main road to Kerung, the immigration office and several hotels reportedly washed away, leaving the return route blocked.

Their families also faced a difficult period after communication was disrupted, as WhatsApp is not available in China. However, there is relief that all four are safe and currently staying at a secure location.
The Ministry of External Affairs and local administration are making efforts on a war footing to facilitate their safe return to India.
