Nagpur News : Social service branch of crime branch has arrested a Rajasthan man for allegedly selling fake gold plates to people in the city. Police has seized fake gold plates weighing 1.377 kg from him.
Accused arrested has been identified as Mursaleem Khan, 24, who claimed to resident of Samdhara in Bharatpur district, Rajasthan.
According to the police, a secret source had informed them about a man illegally selling gold plates at cheaper rates. Police kept a track of Khan’s movement and finally nabbed him on Monday through a trap set-up secretly in Sitabuldi police station jurisdiction. A fraud offence was registered against Khan and he was handed over to Sitabuldi police.
