While ruling out any alliance with Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena for the Ferbruary 22 BMC polls, state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil said, “I realised that he is vocal about the rights of Maharashtrians and fights for them. Simultaneously, he does not want to spread hatred against non-Maharashtrians.”

Maharashtra BJP president, Chandrakant Patil on Friday ruled out any alliance between Bharatiya Janata Party and MNS for 2022 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls that are scheduled to be held in February next year.

The Maharashtra BJP chief further said, “Some of his statements gave an impression, he is against non-Maharashtrians. But after speaking to him, I realised that he is vocal about the rights of Maharashtrians and fights for them. Simultaneously, he does not want to spread hatred against non-Maharashtrians.”
