Nagpur: R G Sheikh recently took charge as Chief Engineer of MSEDCL (Mahavitaran) at Nagpur Circle. He replaced Prasad Reshme who has been promoted as Vidarbha Regional Director of the company.
R G Sheikh originally hails from Vaijapur (District Aurangabad) and joined the then MSEB as Junior Engineer in 1984. He held various important posts in his 32 year long career. Sheikh played a vital role as Bhivandi Superintending Engineer in handing over the power supply to first franchisee in 2007.
The appointment of R G Sheikh as Chief Engineer of MSEDCL (Mahavitaran) at Nagpur Circle has been hailed by Vidarbha Regional Director Prasad Reshme, Superintending Engineers Sunil Deshpande, Rajendra Pawar, Manish Wath, General Manager (Finance & Accounts) Anil Barate, Assistant General Manager (Human Resource) Vaibhav Thorat, Executive Engineer Deepali Madelwar, and other officials, office-bearers of different unions of workers.
