Eagle Academy Club eked out a win over V.T.C Sports Academy scoring 6-0, to register a victory in the third match of Vidarbha Hockey Association’s Senior Division encounter at its play-field on December 17, 2013.
6-0 thrashing to V.T.C Sports Academy helped Eagle Club to earn three valuable points in the match. For Eagle Academy, Purnima Jibhkate scored the hat-trick in the 16th, 39th and 42nd minutes. Neelam Nishad scored a first lone goal in the early 3rd min. In the 8th min, Sangita Meshram swelled the lead making it more difficult for V.T.C Sporting. Subsequently, the fourth brilliant goal was struck by Monali Krupale in the 37th min.
In boys section, City Police Club spanked Eagle Club 2-0. Both the goals were earned by Vinod Berde in the 33th and 56th min. Also after the crossover, Eagle Club got some chances to defend but they missed the net opportunities.
