Nagpur: The Nagpurtoday online news daily has been sincerely voicing public issues for their immediate redressal. They have commendably drawn attention of officials in the administration and local political leaders as well, and solutions have been sought out in public interest.
Now, the issues like illegal Hukka Parlour, unauthorized hotel, garage, lawn in Kachhipura and other illegal activities, exposed by Nagpurtoday are going to be tabled in the general body meeting of Nagpur Municipal Corporation on June 20, 2015 for discussions and suitable actions to be taken to check them.
While the Hukka parlour issue will be tabled by NMC corporator Prakash Totwani, the Kachhipura issue will be raised by Leader of Opposition in the NMC Vikas Thakre, said the sources. It is worth mentioning that the Hukka parlours are ruining the lives of young generation while Kachhipura-issues are putting the state government into loss of revenue. This all is happening at the connivance of police and district administration, informed the sources. The state government before coming into power had claimed that it would not tolerate illegalities of any sort. Where have those claims gone? It is asked by sensible citizens.
All eyes are now set at the decision of NMC Mayor Praveen Datke to be taken on June 20 on the aforesaid issues.
