Nagpur: The Secretary of Urban Development Department Manisha Mhaiskar on Thursday directed the concerned officials to provide Regular Land Allotment (RLA) letters to plot holders in government sanctioned 164 layouts coming under Gunthewari area of Nagpur. For the purpose, the officials should organize ‘Samadhan Shibirs’ in each layout and provide the RLA to plot holders from August 15.
The Secretary reviewed the progress of the proposed action to be undertaken in accordance with the Maharashtra Rajya Gunthewari Vikas Adhiniyam 2001. Other present on the occasion include NIT Chairman Dr Deepak Mhaisekar, Executive Officer Sandeep Bapat, Superintending Engineer Sunil Gujjelwar, A K Gaur and Officer on Special Duty in Chief Minister’s Office Asha Pathan.
The NIT Chairman Dr Mhaisekar said that 1.30 lakh applications are under process. The meeting decided to make efforts for facilitating bank loans to plot holders who are unable to pay development charges at one go in the layouts that are being regularized by NIT. The NIT Chairman should hold discussions with interested banks in this regard, the Secretary said.
