Nagpur News : Through education development and changes in all spheres of society can be achieved, said Union Minister for heavy Industries, Government of India, Praful Patel at the National conference on ‘Recent Advances in Engineering and Technology’ on Tuesday, February 25.
The Conference has been organized by Wainganga College of Engineering and Management, Dongargaon, Nagpur. Praful Patel was the chief guest of the inauguration program. Pro Vice Chancellor and chief advisor, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Vedprakash Mishra was the guest of honor and Ex. Vice Chancellor, VIT Vellore ,Prof. D.P.Kothari gave the Key Note address.
Patel told that India doesn’t need to copy other nations. The geography and population of various nations is different. In fact, India can become a model of growth for other nations to follow. We need to change our thinking pattern and focus on development.
Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra addressing the students emphasized to students having curiosity for learning. The college should bring out curiosity in students for learning and thinking out of the box. If the students have a curiosity for learning and knowing things, then no one can stop them achieving the development of the nation as whole.
Prof. Dr. Kothari delivering in his keynote address said , Education is a very holy profession.Today’s youth are not that reluctant to get into this profession . Youngsters should pursue this profession and help in nation building.
Prominently present during the inauguration were G.S.Natrajan, A.A.Mankar( Principal Wainganga)and Somdatta Karenjekar( Director WBVS).
Brahamanad Karenjekar (President WBVS) presided over the function.
