Nagpur: Delhi Public School (DPS) MIHAN successfully concluded the Pro Vice Chairperson’s Cup 2026–27 with an exciting fourth and final day of football action. The concluding day featured finals across four age categories — Under-12 Boys, Under-14 Boys, Under-17 Girls and Under-17 Boys.

The final day witnessed closely contested encounters, dramatic penalty shootouts and impressive individual performances as young footballers battled for the championship titles.

Bhavan’s Ashti Win Under-12 Boys Title

In the Under-12 Boys final, Bhavan’s Ashti defeated Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar 2–1 to claim the championship.

Rihan Sharma was the star performer for Bhavan’s Ashti, scoring both goals for the winning team. Yashwin Khadilkar scored the only goal for Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar in a spirited performance.

DPS MIHAN Clinch Under-14 Boys Title on Penalties

The Under-14 Boys final between DPS MIHAN and Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar remained goalless during regulation time, forcing the match into a penalty shootout.

DPS MIHAN held their nerve to secure a 3–1 victory on penalties.

Goalkeeper Aditya Bang played a crucial role by making an important save during the shootout. Daksh Yadav, Videsh Swaminathan and Atharv Mishra successfully converted their penalties to help DPS MIHAN lift the title.

DPS Lava Win Under-17 Girls Final

The Under-17 Girls final between DPS MIHAN and DPS Lava was another closely fought contest. Neither team could break the deadlock during regulation time, leading to a penalty shootout.

DPS Lava emerged victorious 2–1 on penalties, with Aarya Thakre and Vishweshree playing key roles in their team’s winning effort.

DPS MIHAN Triumph in Under-17 Boys Final

The Under-17 Boys final between DPS MIHAN and DPS Kamptee Road provided an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

The match ended 1–1 after full time. Aditya Khambre scored for DPS MIHAN, while Saish Lanjewar found the net for DPS Kamptee Road.

The championship was ultimately decided by penalties, with DPS MIHAN winning 2–1. Bhavya Turkar and Arnav Uprade successfully converted their penalties to help DPS MIHAN secure the Under-17 Boys championship.

Individual Honours

The tournament also recognised outstanding performances with individual awards in all four categories.

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr Stanley Gregory, Secretary, Nagpur District Football Association, as the Chief Guest.

Dr Gregory congratulated the players for their dedication, sportsmanship and competitive spirit displayed throughout the tournament.

Mrs Nidhi Yadav, Principal, DPS MIHAN, also congratulated the participating teams and players for their commendable performances.

The successful organisation of the tournament was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Mr Abhilash Bhusari, Head of the Department of Sports, DPS MIHAN, and his team.
