Nagpur: President of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Nagpur for a one day tour on April 15. During her visit, she will attend two important programmes at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (AIIMS) and National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT). According to a senior police official, the President will arrive in the morning by a special flight. After landing at the city airport, she will visit AIIMS Nagpur, and inaugurate a conference.
Later, President Murmu will attend the valedictory function at the NADT. City police and administration have started full preparations for the high-profile visit. Security arrangements are being tightened across key locations to ensure the smooth movement of the President during her stay in Nagpur. Officials said, all the necessary measures are being taken to manage traffic and maintain safety during the visit.
