Nagpur: “Indian Constitution does not contain the word Hindustan at all. It has only Bharat and India mention. However, the present rulers, in a deep rooted conspiracy, are planning to turn the country only a Hindu Rashtra,” thundered Dr Nitin Raut while addressing a public meeting at Garib Nawaz Nagar Ground in North Nagpur. Dr Raut is in Assembly election fray as Congress nominee supported by PRP, Dalit Panther, and Lokmanch.
“These rulers never talk of development politics. I have done lot of development in Garib Nawaz Nagar and resolved the problems of gutter line and drinking water. Urdu houses are also to be constructed in this area and making efforts for providing residents the house ‘pattas’ (ownership rights),” said Nitin Raut.
The public meeting was also addressed by veteran Congress leader Gev Awari, Mansoor Khan, Hamid Leader, Umakant Shukla, Abdulla Khan and others. The Congress candidate also addressed a corner meeting in Sugat Nagar. Both meetings were largely attended people of the areas.

Hatmag Bunkar Vyapar Sanghatan (Handloom Weavers’ Trade Organisation) held an annual function of weavers of Cluster Teka-Naka on Sunday in which it was decided to extend support to Dr Nitin Raut, said Chairman Shakeel Ahmed Siddique.
