Nagpur: Campaigning of Praful Gudadhe Patil received the touch of stars and the spice as well when Bollywood celebrities Raj Babbar and Nagma joined his road show and hit the streets of South-West Nagpur constituency. Senior Congress leader Vilas Muttemwar also participated in the Road Show.
Praful Gudadhe Patil, the Congress nominee, organized the Road Show at 11 in the morning and it rolled out from Jaitala Bus Stop. The Road Show later passed through Subhash Nagar, Gopal Nagar, Swavalambi Nagar, Khamla, Somalwada, Ajni, Sai Mandir, Narendra Nagar, Shatabdi Nagar and other areas. The Show received tumultuous welcome from people in every area and the streets and squares were flooded by people to have a glimpse of Bollywood stars Raj Babbar and Nagma.
Raj Babbar, expressing his views on the occasion, said, “People should bless and elect a farmer’s son and youth leader Praful Gudadhe Patil by a big margin. Praful is determined for a perfect development of this constituency.” Similarly, Nagma said, “Congress party can only respect womenfolk. Therefore, without falling prey to false propaganda, the ‘Bhoomiputra’ (son of soil) Praful Gudadhe Patil should be supported by the people. Time has come to decide whether people want a worker always available or a ‘non-reachable’ leader. Praful, who is fighting for truth and not the power, should be elected by a huge margin,” said Nagma drawing a loud applause from people.
