Nagpur: Call it sheer ignorance or mere apathy of poll arrangements, the glitch in voters’ list cost a pregnant woman Roshni Sheikh her vote after her photo was found to be placed beside some other’s name.
She was not allowed to vote at the polling booth set up at Land Records Department under Kamptee Assembly Constituency.
Roshni kept waiting near the booth, hoping for correction in glitch but to no avail. She finally had to return without voting along with her family members.
