Nagpur Today: The tower hosting power cables erected in the office of MSEB falls down in the premises at Katol Road Square on February 26, 2014. The incident occurred at around 4 am. According to sources, last night, when strong winds were blowing around in the city, the tower was swinging back and forth.
It could be mentioned here that the tower was rusted and in a dilapidated condition and was ignored by the officials.
Apart from rusting, the tower also had algae at many places which showed continuous presence of moisture on the tower, which could have led the tower to break and fall down. With the falling of the tower, power supply in the area also has been affected.
