Players for State Softball team for Federation Cup shortlisted

The Maharashtra Softball Association has announced Senior State Team for the Federation Cup after the conditioning camp held at Nagpur. The conditioning-cum selection camp was held at Nasikrao Tirpude College of Physical Education ground.

The Federation Cup is under way at Amritsar. The camp was organized under the aegis of Nagpur District Softball Association. Players from various districts took part in the camp. The conditioning camp was attended by India players Chetan Mahadik and Mukul Deshpande.

The Maharashtra Senior Men’s team is as follows: Jayesh More, Pritish Patil, Sumedh Talweshwar, Kalpesh Kolhe (all from Jalgaon), Chetan Mahadik, Piyush Amburkat, Abhishek Selokar, Nikhil Mohite (all from Nagpur), Preetam Yadav and Piyush Chandekar (both from Yavatmal), Abhijit Mirke, Akshay Kudve, Ajinkya Papadkar, Nikhil Kadu (all from Amravati), Ranjit Sharma (Nasik), Harshal More (Navi Mumbai, Shahbaz Sheikh (Pune). Akola’s Mukul Deshpande will be the manager of the state squad.
Principal of Dhanwate National College Dr Babanrao Taywade, Prof Dr Vivek Awasare and other members of Nagpur District Softball Association congratulated and wished luck to the Maharashtra team.
