Nagpur: In a shameful act, a 32-year old man molested a neighbouring 10-year old girl when she was taking bath in her house. Though the incident occurred on Wednesday (September 2), a complaint was lodged against the accused on Friday.
According to police, the 10-year old girl was taking bath in her house located in Kalamna area. At the same time the pervert neighbour Tejram Waghdhare (32) sneaked into the bathroom and indulged in obscene actions. The sudden development scared the girl and she shouted for help. Her shouts panicked the accused Tejram and he barged out of the bathroom and took to his heels. The girl’s relatives later filed a complaint with Kalamna police in this connection.
PSI Bhagile, acting on the complaint, has registered an offence against the pervert accused Tejram Waghdhare under Sections 354(A)(1) of IPC read with Sub-Sections 8, 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and probing the matter further.
