Nagpur: Holi is been celebrated with gaiety and fervour in City on Friday as revellers took to streets armed with sprinklers since morning.

Streets got rainbow-coloured as people played with colours of different hues to mark Holi.
At various places peoples from different parts of the society was seen gathering to celebrate ‘Basanto Utsav’ (Spring festival).
Spring festival Holi was celebrated at many parts of the country with gaiety and fervour today.
In his message on the eve of Holi, the President said, “May this festival of colours promote oneness and harmony as well as bring happiness, good health and prosperity to all. Let us use this spring festival to spread the fame and fragrance of our composite culture far and wide,” he said.
In his message to the people, the Vice President said, “Holi, which marks the onset of Spring, is celebrated throughout the country by everyone, irrespective of class, creed or origin and symbolises the unity in diversity of our nation.
