People queue up at Raman Science Centre to view lunar eclipse

Nagpur: A large gathering gathered at Raman Science Centre, Nagpur to witness the much awaited event of total Lunar Eclipse. Though Lunar eclipse is not the event to look through Telescope, people were waiting in a long queue to view it through telescope.

It is the first time in 35 years a blue moon has synced up with a supermoon and a total lunar eclipse. There hasn’t been a triple lineup like this since 1982 and the next won’t occur until 2037.

Raman Science Center had arranged a power point presentation to explain the phenomenon to the visitors and also real time simulation of eclipsed moon. Centre also arranged two telescope to view the moon.
