Nagpur: The family of Kumari Payal Marskole, who died of being struck by lightning recently at Dhantoli area in the city, received a pay order of Rs 4 lakhs from the state government as a relief from the fund earmarked for natural calamities. The pay order was handed over to her father, Madhukar Marskole, at the hands of Nagpur City Tahsildar Samarth on June 24, Wednesday, informed an official release.
In another incident of loss caused by lightning, a buffalo of Anil Zade was struck dead at Kalmana on Wednesday. The Nagpur CIty Tahsildar Samarth handed over a pay order of Rs 16,400 as financial assistance from government relief fund to Anil Zade for purchase of a live stock.
Yet in an incident of heavy down pour in the city, the house of Farid Khan of Wanjara was damaged. He too was handed over a pay order of Rs 5,400 by Tahsildar Samarth from government relief fund.
