Haryana BJP minister vows support to IAS officer

Chandigarh/Nagpur: BJP government in Haryana on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders of nine IAS officers including whistle blower Ashok Khemka with immediate effect.

For Khemka, who alleged persecution by the Congress in Haryana for cancelling a land deal involving Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, this will be the 46th transfer in his 22-year career as a civil servant.

Ashok Khemka, who had in November last year been posted as Transport Commissioner and Secretary has now been transferred and given the dual charge of Secretary and Director General, Archaeology and Museums department relieving RS Kharb of the charge, an official release said in Chandigarh.
