Nagpur: In a significant breakthrough, Pachpaoli Police have arrested a notorious bicycle thief and successfully retrieved 11 stolen bicycles from his possession. The apprehended individual has been identified as Sheikh Asif Sheikh Rahim (35), a resident of Shivshakti Nagar, Yashodhara Nagar.
The arrest came in response to a complaint filed by Sushant Rupdas Bhiwgade (32), residing in Nawa Nakhash, concerning the theft of his bicycle. Promptly initiating an investigation upon receiving the complaint, law enforcement officers were able to identify Sheikh as the prime suspect. He now faces charges under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code for his alleged involvement in the thefts.

The arrest operation was carried out by a dedicated team led by PI Baburao Raut and API Pravin Somwanshi. The team comprised diligent staff members including Dhnyaneshwar Bhoge, Chhagan Singne, Imran Sheikh, Romesh Menewar, Rahul Chikte, Gagan Yadav, Santosh Shendre, and Mahendra Selokar.
