Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce organized awareness programme on LBT ANNUAL RETURN on Tuesday the 17th June 2014 at 4.00 PM at its Meeting Hall.
At the outset, Dipen Agrawal, President of the Chamber welcomed the members of trading community and also felicitated Shreegopal Soni, Past President Chamber & Sanjay Agrawal, Convener LBT Sub-Committee of NVCC who were main speakers on the occasion. While addressing the members Dipen Agrawal, President highlighted the details of Local Body Tax (LBT) since its imposition & problems being experienced by the traders. He thanked the members for participating in the awareness programme in large numbers.
Thereafter, Shreegopal Soni, Past President said that though the traders have registered their concern for LBT and experiencing hardships for submission of Annual Return. To ease the problem NVCC has organized today’s awareness program. He further said that Sanjay Agrawal, Convener, LBT Sub-Committee would explain how to fill in the Annual Return of LBT for submission to NMC before 30th June 2014.
Sanjay Agrawal, Convener, LBT Sub-Committee gone through the Form E-II of LBT Return –cum-challan and guided how to fill in the form viz. Part-I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII, one by one.
Milind Meshram, Asst. Commissioner (LBT) N.M.C. was felicitated by Dipen Agrawal, President and he requested Milind Meshram to enlighten about submission of LBT Return Form-cum-challan. Milind Meshram while enlightening the gathering & answering the queries of the dealers on LBT Annual Return appreciated the efforts of NVCC to have organized this workshop, he further admitted that this workshop in fact should have been organized by LBT department. Lot number of queries were raised & answered in the session.
Hemant Gandhi Hon. Secretary of the Chamber conducted the proceedings of the awareness programme and proposed vote of thanks to the speakers & members of business community for participating the awareness programme in large number.
