Nagpur News : Unidentified thieves stole away a bag containing cash Rs 1.50 lakh and a cheque book from Lakadganj area on Thursday.
According to information, Narendra Mohanlal Katariya (51), a resident of Wardhaman Nagar, kept a bag containing Rs 1.50 lakh cash of the office and a cheque book in the foot platform in front of his Activa (MH 31 BS 9752) on Thursday. He parked his moped near Vande Matram Square to buy sweet lime. Meanwhile, some unidentified thieves stole away the bag from his moped. When Narendra came back to his vehicle, he was stunned to see that the bag was missing.
He rushed to Lakadganj police station and lodged a complaint against unknown thieves. Cops have registered an offence under sections 379 of the IPC.
