Nagpur News : The sports, literary and cultural inter and Intra Collegiate festival of Raisoni College of Management Studies, Kashti saw an unprecedented response from various students 2000 hailing from different colleges across Nagpur and the surrounding areas. The event was inaugurated by Chairman of Raisoni Group of Educational Institutions Sunil Raisoni and Honorary Treasurer of Cancer Institute Nagpur Dr Ramkrishna Channgani.
Kashti organized by Raisoni College of Management studies has always been synonymous with great academics, intellect, high IQ’s et al along with sports and cultural excellence, which has been making waves and has become an inseparable part of Raisoni. The festivities have not only touched the lives of every student in Raisoni but also those of students all over Nagpur. The brain child of Raisonians, Kashti was conceived in 2008. The festival currently in its 6th year has seen over 3000 students from various colleges participating in various competitions year after year. The festival which caters to all kinds of talent spanning all over Raisoni Group of Educational Institutions organizes an array of events every year based on performing arts, literature, management, fine arts, workshops, gaming etc.

Many events marked the festival covering all areas of sports, literary and cultural domains the list of events were Cricket, Chess, LAN Gaming, Debate, Rangoli, Wall Painting, Face Painting, Photography. The Debate and the Photography contest which not only evoked a very good participation but also had brought out the innate talents of the students. The debate competition was presented with a twist of various rounds like Open Forum Questions and General Opinion which made the whole event very lively. Whereas The Photography contest saw some really good pictures being taken on the theme of ‘Traffic”. Students’ participation from different colleges all across Nagpur enhanced the enthusiasm of the students. The exuberance of these contestants truly placed the whole of second day to a different level.

The highlights were the Group of girls performing the “Lungi Dance” which clearly reflected the enthusiasm of these girls to move out of the conventional closet of typical dance group number. As it is rightly said “Why should guys have all the Fun”. Sunday being a holiday, Saw a huge number of students coming down and witnessing, which could perhaps be only stated as yet another successful day marching towards the Grand Finale.
