Oscar winning music composer James Horner died at the age of 61 in a plane crash near Santa Barbara on June 22, 2015 morning.

Horner was an American composer, conductor and orchestrator of film music.he was known for the integration of choral and electronic elements in many of his film scores, and for frequent use of Celtic musical elements. Prolific film composer who also scored Aliens, Avatar, Braveheart and A Beautiful Mind, died piloting his single-engine plane in southern California on Monday morning.  The identity of the pilot was not initially known, but Jame’s death was later confirmed by Sylvia Patrycja, Jame’s assistant, on her Facebook page. Sylvia wrote-“We have lost an amazing person with a huge heart and unbelievable talent,” she added- “He died doing what he loved. Thank you for all your support.”

The talking head for Ventura County fire service-Mike Lindbery claimed that ‘The plane – S-312 Tucano MK1 turbo-prop with two seats crashed at about 9.30am, local time on Monday in the Los Padres national forest and there was no one else on board with James.

Jame’s was a trained piolet, and before the news of his death was confirmed, a lawyer for Jame’s family, Jay Cooper claimed that the plane was from one of the number Jame’s owned.

The composer was born in Los Angeles in the year 1953 to a production designer, Harry Horner, and his wife, Joan. James was trained at the Royal College of Music in London before he returned to California to study for a degree in music at the University of Southern California.

Horner owned Oscars for his work. Horner’s music will hold the hearts of many fans.

“I’m different from some other composers,” Horner once said, “because I don’t look at this as just a job. I see music as art.” Uncertainly, we lost one of the finest composers. Rest In Peace James Horner.
