A Panel discussion on “Opportunities for SME’s-Aspire, Export” was held by Federation of Indian Export Organization in association with Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce, today at Hotel TuliImprial, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.Over 100 delegates from SME sector & Exporters attended the Panel discussion.
Paresh Mehta, Convener of FIEO Customs, Excise and Service tax set the tone for the evening with a brief introduction of FIEO and the initiatives undertaken by FIEO.
Dipen Agrawal, President of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce spoke on behalf of the SME sector and pronounced the immense potential of the SMEs. He highlighted upon the contribution of the SME in the economy and the problems faced by them to take to exports. He further said that the SME’s have enormous potential for innovations and incremental development, which need to be nurtured for production of new goods and services at competitive costs.
Ashish Agrawal, Regional Sales Head (West), DHL Express India spoke elaborately on the importance of Logistics to the business of SMEs specifically for exports. His presentation went a long way to get an acknowledgement of the value, Logistics services can provide to the SME sector.
