Nagpur Taluka Chess Association (NTCA) is going to organise G H Raisoni Maharashtra State Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament from June 14 to 18. The tournament is being organised under the aegis of Vidarbha Chess Association and Nagpur District Chess Association. The tournament will be inaugurated on June 14 at 9.30 am.
The tournament is recognised by Maharashtra Chess Association and All India Chess Federation. Participation in the tournament is open for participants from Maharashtra.
Eminent players like IM Anup Deshmukh, FM Saurabh Kherdekar, FM S S Soman, Aakash Thakur, Dilip Pagey and Gurupreet Singh Maras are participating in the tournament. The prize money is sponsored by Raisoni Group of institution, whereas South Indian Education Society is providing its auditorium for the organisation of the tournament.
